Inside Sales Manager

Manages Inside Sales Department. Performs leadership, supply chain, administrative and clerical duties that support the sales department. Works closely with customers, distributors, vendors, and sales representatives to answer questions and resolve problems. Schedules plant production.

Classification: Salary Position

Reports to: Sales General Manger   

Date: 3-10-24

Work Environment: Industrial facility; will spend some time in pipe yard but work area will be primarily in the office.

Physical Demands: Standing, stooping, bending, and sitting for long periods of time, work that may involve lifting to 20 lbs.

Position type and expected outs of work: Full time hours typical work schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM additional hours as needed and schedule subject to change.

Travel: Minimal

 

Responsibilities

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage/supervise inside sales representatives’ daily activities.
  • Schedule plant pipe production.
  • Provide support to outside sales representatives and our customers.
  • Facilitates resolutions to concerns and inquiries by our customers.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Leadership role that sets individual and team goals, coach reports, and complete employee evaluations.
  • Manage inventory levels for pipe accessories.
  • Prepare purchase orders for pipe accessories.
  • Participate in the monthly physical inventory.
  • Manage special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of directly related experience preferred.
  • 2 Years in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and use several software programs.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and accomplish assignments without supervision.
  • Problem Solver works to resolve questions and inquiries that arise.
  • Is professional and has excellent phone etiquette.
  • Is detailed oriented and able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
