McWane Ductile - New Jersey is seeking individuals to fill mechanical maintenance positions in its Phillipsburg, New Jersey heavy industrial manufacturing plant
What you will do:
Primary responsibilities include maintenance, repair, installation, and upgrade of plant machinery and equipment.
Ability to perform routine tasks as evaluation, cleaning and lubrication of machinery and plant equipment during an overhaul and preventative maintenance.
Thorough knowledge in welding procedures using electric arc, MIG, TIG and oxyacetylene welding equipment.
Knowledge of industrial systems including hydraulic, liquid and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of related system components such as valves, cylinders, pumps and compressors.
Disassemble and repair or replace defective parts, reassemble and check operation using tools such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, levels, plumb bobs, straight edge, machine shop equipment and other measuring instruments.
The Company will provide all required personal protective clothing/equipment such as safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, safety gloves, or other equipment as required
Do you have what it takes?
Previous 1-2 years Industrial Maintenance Experience.
Preferred - high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Dependability and consistency in attendance and work
Communicate with supervisors and other associates and able to work within a team.
Follow work and safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
Position may require the ability to work various shifts, occasional weekends and overtime
